Nationally Recognised Qualifications Information

Understanding Your Qualification

OnlineRPL offers access to nationally recognised qualifications through our partnered Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

This means your qualification is recognised across Australia and aligned with national training standards.

What Does “Nationally Recognised” Mean?

A nationally recognised qualification:

• Is developed under an approved Training Package
• Meets Australian Government standards
• Is recognised across all Australian states and territories
• Can be verified through the issuing RTO

These qualifications meet the standards of the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.

How Are Qualifications Issued?

Qualifications are:

• Assessed by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
• Issued by the Partner RTO (not by OnlineRPL directly)
• Provided once all competency requirements are met
• Released after completion of all required stages

Students will receive either:

• A full Qualification Certificate, or
• A Statement of Attainment (if only some units are completed)

Training Package Alignment

Each qualification is aligned with:

• A nationally endorsed Training Package
• Specific unit codes and competency standards
• Performance and knowledge evidence requirements

Students must demonstrate competency against all required units before a qualification can be issued.

Verification of Your Qualification

Once issued, your qualification:

• Includes the RTO name and code
• Includes the qualification code and title
• Can be verified directly with the issuing RTO

Employers may confirm authenticity with the RTO.

Important Note

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal assessment pathway within the VET system.

It recognises skills and knowledge gained through:

• Work experience
• Informal learning
• Industry practice
• Previous training

Students must provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate competency.
