How are elective units selected?

To achieve CPC40920 Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, you must complete 5 elective units in addition to the 10 core units.

Hydraulic Services Design stream

• 5 elective units must be selected from the approved elective groups
• Up to 2 units may be replaced with units from other endorsed Training Packages or nationally accredited courses at Certificate IV level or above, provided they do not duplicate outcomes

Operations stream

• 5 elective units must be completed
• At least 1 elective must be selected from Group B
• The remaining 4 electives must be selected from Group A or Group B
• Up to 2 units may be replaced with units from other endorsed Training Packages or nationally accredited courses at Certificate IV level or above, provided they do not duplicate outcomes
