Scope of Work
The Carpentry RPL scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Carrying out general demolition of minor building structures
- Installing flooring systems
- Constructing and erecting wall frames
- Constructing ceiling frames
- Erecting roof trusses
- Constructing pitched roofs and eaves
- Installing windows and doors
- Constructing, assembling and installing timber external stairs
- Erecting and dismantling formwork for footings and slabs on ground
Experience Requirements
To be eligible, you must demonstrate:
- At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience in a wide range of carpentry work under a licensed Carpenter or Builder
Eligibility
You’ll need to provide:
- 100-point ID check (JP-certified)
- Valid White Card (JP-certified)
- Referee testimonial(s) confirming ≥ 2 years’ experience
- Video or photo evidence of your carpentry work
Regulatory Licensing Requirements
According to NSW Fair Trading, tradies applying for a license must have the relevant industry knowledge and experience and have completed:
- CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry or
- CPC30211/ CPC30208/ BCG30203 Certificate III in Carpentry
