Scope of Work
The Disability Support RPL scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Promoting a person-centred approach
- Working independently without direct supervision
- Supervising and/or coordinating a small team of support workers
Experience Requirements
To be eligible, you must demonstrate:
- At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience in Disability Support work
- The majority of this experience obtained within the last 10 years
Eligibility
You’ll need to provide:
- 100-point ID check (JP-certified)
- Resume detailing your support experience
- Referee testimonial(s) confirming ≥ 3 years’ experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Work samples (e.g., care plans, activity logs)
- Photo evidence of your support work
Regulatory Licensing Requirements
Workers must have completed 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
