About The Qualification

Scope of Work
The Plumbing RPL scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Handling and storing plumbing materials
- Using plumbing hand and power tools
- Flashing penetrations through roofs and walls
- Welding polymer pipes using the fusion method
- Fabricating and installing non-ferrous pressure piping
- Installing on-site domestic wastewater treatment plants and disposal systems
- Installing gas pressure control equipment
- Planning the layout of a residential sanitary plumbing system
- Fabricating and installing sanitary stacks
- Connecting and installing storage tanks to a domestic water supply
Experience Requirements
To be eligible, you must demonstrate:
- At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience in a wide range of plumbing work under a licensed Plumber
Eligibility
You’ll need to provide:
- 100-point ID check (JP-certified)
- Valid White Card (JP-certified)
- Referee testimonial(s) confirming ≥ 2 years’ experience
- Video or photo evidence of your plumbing work

According to NSW Fair Trading, there are different types of licences available in NSW depending on whether applicants want to contract for another party or supervise work. A contractor licence allows tradies to contract and advertise to do work as described on your licence.
