OnlineRPL regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our users. If you have questions or concerns, please contact our team at compliance@onlinerpl.edu.au.

OnlineRPL is committed to Australian privacy legislation in the way it collects, uses, secures and discloses personal information. The Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) require us to comply with strict handling, use and disclosure requirements. This document describes the OnlineRPL Privacy Policy.

2. The Information We Collect

By signing up with OnlineRPL, you agree to have information passed on to, and be contacted by, our partner RTOs in relation to the training and assessment you are applying for. You also acknowledge that under the Privacy Act, we are required to share personal information about students with the Australian Government and other designated authorities.

We lawfully collect personal and other information that is necessary for our business to function and may include:

  • Information you provide when you sign up for a course, including your name, address and contact details.
  • Information derived from communications between you and us.
  • Evidence you submit to OnlineRPL for processing and successful completion of your RPL application.

The use of our facilities and services will determine the amount and type of information we collect. The only personal information we collect when you use our website is what you tell us about yourself (for example, by completing an online form or when you send us email) and we will record your email address.

An anonymised image created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

8. Published Information

OnlineRPL will continuously update its website without notice to ensure the information presented is true and accurate and reflects the policies, procedures and processes of our partner RTOs and relevant regulators.

As some of the qualifications offered have a licensing outcome, it is important to ensure policies, procedures and processes are in line with those of industry regulators and licensing bodies.

OnlineRPL will in no event be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages that may arise from the use of any of the information on this website. Please consult your relevant industry regulator website and licensing body to confirm information.

9. Licensing Outcome

OnlineRPL is an education facilitator that partners with various Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) listed under our “Partners” page, not a licensing regulatory government body.

OnlineRPL can help students with the process of obtaining a nationally recognised qualification that will be issued by one of their partner RTOs.

Some nationally recognised qualifications can lead to a licence being obtained through your state government regulator such as Fair Trading in NSW. Contact the licensing regulator body in your state for further details on obtaining a licence.
